This 2-day trek is a carefully organised way to experience Mount Toubkal and the Atlas Mountains. Our local team takes care of the transport, the overnight stays and the timing, so you can simply enjoy the road, the landscapes and the people you meet. Every departure is run by experienced drivers and guides who know the region well and are happy to share stories, stop for photos and adapt the pace to your group.
About This Tour
Mount Toubkal is the highest summit in North Africa at 4,167 metres. The climb starts in the village of Imlil and follows mule paths up the valley to a mountain refuge before the final push to the top, with breathtaking views over the High Atlas.
The 2-day programme is flexible: you can start early to make the most of the light, or take things slowly and enjoy long breakfasts and lunches in local restaurants. Accommodation is booked in advance in places we know and trust.
The walking parts of the trip are led by a qualified local guide who adapts the pace to the group. Mules can carry the luggage, so you only need a small daypack with water, a jacket and your camera.
This tour can be combined with extra nights in Marrakech or Fes, other excursions or airport transfers. Just let us know in the message field of the booking form and we will build the perfect plan for you.
