About This Tour
Merzouga sits at the edge of Erg Chebbi, a sea of orange dunes that can rise above 150 metres. The colours change through the day, from soft gold in the morning to deep red at sunset, and the silence of the desert at night is something most travellers never forget.
Chefchaouen, the blue city, is a small town in the Rif Mountains famous for its blue painted lanes and relaxed atmosphere. Time spent wandering its alleys, small squares and viewpoints is often a favourite memory of a Morocco trip.
Fes is the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Its medina is one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world, full of artisans, old madrasas, fountains and the famous leather tanneries.
During these 6 days you will see how much the landscapes of Morocco change in a short time, from mountains and valleys to palm oases and desert plains, with very different ways of life in each region.
At the end of the afternoon you meet your camel and its handler at the foot of the dunes. The caravan slowly makes its way through the sand while the sun goes down, a peaceful moment that is often the highlight of the trip.
