About This Tour
A walk through the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou takes you back in time, between clay walls, old granaries and small craft shops. From the top of the village the view over the valley and the surrounding mountains is superb.
Ouarzazate is known as the door of the desert and as a centre of film making, with large studios on the edge of town. The Taourirt kasbah and the surrounding valleys make it a pleasant stop between the mountains and the Sahara.
Over 2 days and 1 night, the itinerary balances time on the road with visits and moments to relax. Distances are planned so you arrive before dark whenever possible, and your driver is always ready to stop for a viewpoint, a coffee or a short walk.
The walking parts of the trip are led by a qualified local guide who adapts the pace to the group. Mules can carry the luggage, so you only need a small daypack with water, a jacket and your camera.
