About This Tour

Getting to Erg Chigaga is part of the adventure: after M'Hamid the asphalt ends and the journey continues off-road through open desert. The reward is a huge area of untouched dunes, perfect for travellers who want a quieter side of the Sahara.

The Draa Valley follows the longest river in Morocco through a green ribbon of palm trees, ksour and kasbahs. It is one of the most scenic roads in the south of the country.

Over 3 days and 2 nights, the itinerary balances time on the road with visits and moments to relax. Distances are planned so you arrive before dark whenever possible, and your driver is always ready to stop for a viewpoint, a coffee or a short walk.

Camels are gentle animals and the ride needs no experience. Wear comfortable clothes, wrap a scarf around your head like the locals do, and enjoy the rolling motion as the dunes turn gold around you.
