About This Tour

The dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga are the most famous in Morocco. Small villages, palm gardens and nomad tents surround the sand, and the views from the top of a dune at sunrise make the early start more than worth it.

Over 2 days and 1 night, the itinerary balances time on the road with visits and moments to relax. Distances are planned so you arrive before dark whenever possible, and your driver is always ready to stop for a viewpoint, a coffee or a short walk.

Camels are gentle animals and the ride needs no experience. Wear comfortable clothes, wrap a scarf around your head like the locals do, and enjoy the rolling motion as the dunes turn gold around you.

The tents are well equipped for all seasons, with comfortable beds and heating or air conditioning depending on the season. It is the ideal way to enjoy the desert with the comfort of a small hotel room.
