From Marrakech: 3-Day Mount Toubkal Climbing Trek
Explore Mount Toubkal with guided walking with a local guide on a 3-day trek departing from Marrakech.
3 Days · From Marrakech
This 3-day trek departing from Marrakech is built around Mount Toubkal and the Atlas Mountains. It is designed for travellers who want a real feel of Morocco without worrying about logistics. You will be looked after from pick-up to drop-off by a team that lives in the region and knows its roads, its villages and its best viewpoints.
About This Tour
Mount Toubkal is the highest summit in North Africa at 4,167 metres. The climb starts in the village of Imlil and follows mule paths up the valley to a mountain refuge before the final push to the top, with breathtaking views over the High Atlas.
During these 3 days you will see how much the landscapes of Morocco change in a short time, from mountains and valleys to palm oases and desert plains, with very different ways of life in each region.
The walking parts of the trip are led by a qualified local guide who adapts the pace to the group. Mules can carry the luggage, so you only need a small daypack with water, a jacket and your camera.
Pick-up from your hotel or riad is included, and we can also arrange airport transfers or extra nights. Send us your request through the form and we will prepare a programme that fits your plans.
