About This Tour

The Moroccan Sahara is a sea of orange dunes that can rise above 150 metres. The colours change through the day, from soft gold in the morning to deep red at sunset, and the silence of the desert at night is something most travellers never forget.

Over 2 days and 1 night, the itinerary balances time on the road with visits and moments to relax. Distances are planned so you arrive before dark whenever possible, and your driver is always ready to stop for a viewpoint, a coffee or a short walk.

The camel trek is calm and suitable for most travellers. You can also walk next to the camels if you prefer, and stop on a high dune to watch the sunset or sunrise.

Expect a warm welcome with mint tea on arrival, a spacious tent decorated with Berber rugs, a proper bed with fresh linen and a private bathroom with hot shower. Dinner is a feast of Moroccan dishes, and the night ends with drums and stories by the fire.

Meals are a big part of the experience: expect tagines, couscous, fresh salads and mint tea prepared with local ingredients.
